The new SONY A-Series Walkman with OLED Screen

The new Sony A-series Walkman sports a larger 2.8-inch screen compared to the E-series NWZ-E443 -- morever it's an OLED screen. Apart from the 2.8-inch OLED screen, both the Sony NWZ-A844 and NWZ-A845 Walkman support built-in Digital Noise Cancelling and S-Master Digital Amplifier technology. The Sony Walkman incorporates built-in microphone in the headphones -- ambient noise is analyzed and cancelled with a reverse sound wave.

Sony claims a battery life of up to 31 hours of audio and 9 hours of video playback on the NWZ-A844 and NWZ-A845. The players also have a battery care mode to prevent overcharging and extend the Walkman battery's number of charge cycles before depletion.

The Sony NWZ-A845 Walkman is available in black color with 16GB storage capacity for Rs. 11,990. The Sony NWZ-A844 Walkman has three color options -- black, bronze, white -- with 8GB capacity for Rs. 8,990.

Also its slimmest Walkman series MP3 players, the NWZ-A845 and NWZ-A844 -- it measures 7.22mm thin. The Sony Walkmans sport 2.8-inch OLED screen and offer up to 16GB capacity.

he Sony NWZ-A844 and NWZ-A845 Walkman allows convenient drag and drop transfer of music and other data to and from the Walkman. The new Sony A-series Walkman can also be plugged to a TV to play video at 720x480 pixel resolution at 30 fps, Sony claims. A signal of intent from Sony that the NWZ A-series Walkman isn't just a glorified MP3 player but a serious portable media player.
