LG OPTIMUS VU P895

Phablets make our heads turn inside out, but they 're out there putting up a fight, which means we have to get a closer look.

Overall, LG attempts to impress with its leather-aping rear and overall  design. We are, however, left yearning for more from a phone that costs Rs. 34,500. You have to wrestle with the tacky SIM cover to get it back in place once you've inserted the SIM card.

At first, the form factor might look awkwrd. But as you pick the phone up and start using it, you will be convinced that the design team slept through their brainstorming sessions. The phone is impossible difficult to hold with one hand, unless of course you are the Hulk.

The screen is a goregeous 5in display capable of 1024x768 resolution. The large size and the 4:3 aspect ratio makes it fun to read books but you might not exactly enjoy watching videos. Our eyes usually tend to find wider screens more inviting.

A stylus is bundled in package and you can use it to take notes or just to scribble something on an image and mail it to someone you know. It works pretty well, but LG, why you not have a slot for the pen on the phone itself? We're sure to misplace it after updating number post a wild night out!
